UP Seat Allotment Procedure
The Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The seat allotment and mop-up round process will be done separately for each round. The Seat allotment will be based entirely on the merit rank and choices entered by candidates.
Join NEET 2024 Group The Uttar Pradesh MBBS and BDS seat allotment result for Round I counselling will be held. The seat allotment result will be published online by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP.
Applying seekers who have been allotted seats in the first Round will also opt for up-gradation in Second Round. And if the candidate gets an upgraded seat in the Second Round, the seat allotted in the First Round will be cancelled.
Document Verification
After releasing the provisional Uttar Pradesh NEET UG merit list, the responsible authority will release a schedule for document verification for all applicants whose names appear on the merit list. Applicants must report in person at the assigned venue to verify their original documents for Uttar Pradesh Medical College admission.

Tie-Breaking For UP MBBS Rank List
If a situation arises with two or more applicants having the same ranks, tie-breaking is needed. Here are some rules for tie-breaking.
- Applicants with higher marks in biology will be given high ranks and preferred.
- If the tie still exists, a candidate with higher marks in chemistry will be given preference.
- If the tie does not break, the applicant with fewer negative marks will be prioritised.
- And if the problem still lies, the older applicant will be preferred.
