New Delhi: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tripura has extended the admission deadline for the Tripura National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 round 3 counselling until February 15. Candidates can now fill their choices for the Tripura NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy counselling through the official website, dme.tripura.gov.in.
Candidates must select new choices for the Tripura NEET PG stray vacancy round, as choices submitted during Round-3 will not be considered for seat allotment in this round.
According to the official notification, candidates who do not currently hold a seat in the All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed Universities, or any State counselling process are eligible to participate in the Tripura NEET PG stray vacancy round counselling. The notification further states that any candidate found holding a seat from AIQ, State, or Deemed Universities will have their candidature automatically canceled for the Stray Vacancy Round.
Candidates who secured a seat in Round-3 but failed to join the allotted institute are ineligible to participate in the stray vacancy round.
Tripura NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Reporting to the Allotted Institute
Candidates allotted a seat in the Stray Vacancy Round must report and join their respective colleges or institutes. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the NEET PG examination for the following year and forfeiture of the security deposit.

The security deposit fee for Tripura NEET PG 2024 varies based on the type of college and category:
Government Colleges:
- General, EWS, OBC-NCL: Rs 25,000
- SC, ST, PwD, OBC-NCL (non-domicile): Rs 12,500
Non-Government Colleges:
- All categories: Rs 2,00,000
Both Government and Private Colleges:
- All categories: Rs 2,00,000
