NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to begin NEET UG 2025 registration soon on its new official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Aspiring medical students must secure top ranks in NEET UG to gain admission to leading government colleges in India for the 4-year MBBS program. AIIMS New Delhi remains the most preferred medical college in the country.
Last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) began the NEET UG registration process on February 9 and conducted the exam on May 5. Based on past trends, the NEET UG application form and information bulletin are expected to be released soon on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in 2025. According to the NIRF Medical Rankings 2024, AIIMS New Delhi was declared the best medical college in India. Among the top 48 NEET UG rank holders, all except one, who chose JIPMER Puducherry, opted for MBBS at AIIMS Delhi.
NEET UG Cut-off Trends (2022-2024)
Students who qualify for NEET UG 2025 must participate in counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for admission allocation. The NEET UG cut-off determines the minimum qualifying rank or percentile for medical college admission. Last year, cut-offs increased across all categories.
