TN NEET PG Counselling 2024; Registration Started Again After Percentile Reduction

DMER has opened Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling registration with a reduced 5 percentile cutoff for all categories, with applications due by March 3, 2025.

TAMIL NADU: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has opened the registration for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling after the cutoff was reduced. Students from General, EWS, UR, SC, ST, and OBC categories who scored 5 percentile or above in the 2024-25 National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET PG) are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

The registration process began on February 25, 2025, following the re-revised cutoff percentile announced by NMEMS. Eligible students can submit their applications for the Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling until 5 PM on March 3, 2025. Applicants must upload all relevant documents as outlined in the prospectus. Candidates with lower percentiles who have already applied do not need to reapply.

Revised NEET PG 2024 Cutoff for Tamil Nadu PG Medical Admission

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has updated the NEET PG cutoff for all categories as follows:

  • To apply for the TN NEET PG 2024 counselling process, follow these steps:
  • Pay the Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling fees and submit the form.
  • Visit the official website: tnmedicalselection.net.
  • In the ‘PG course’ section, click on ‘Apply for Post Graduate Degree/Diploma course.’
  • Select the ‘Click here for new registration’ link.
  • Complete the registration process by providing personal and academic details as required.
