Telangana NEET PG 2024 Merit List Out; 281 Candidates Eligible As Per High Court Orders

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, Warangal, has finally released the Telangana NEET PG counselling 2024 provisional state merit list after a long delay. A total of 3,314 candidates have been declared eligible for state counselling, as per the Telangana NEET PG state merit list 2024.

The Telangana NEET PG counselling 2024 was initially postponed due to discrepancies in the NEET PG state merit list and the introduction of a new domicile rule. Following legal action by 94 aspirants, the high court revoked the new local residency norms, which required four consecutive years of schooling to qualify for the state quota. Despite the court’s decision, KNRUHS and the Telangana government delayed the state NEET PG counselling process for qualified candidates, prompting the Indian Medical Association (IMA) to raise concerns with the chief minister.

Ten days after the court struck down the new domicile policy, Telangana NEET PG admissions 2024 resumed. According to the revised state merit list, 281 candidates have been deemed eligible as per the high court’s orders. Additionally, the university has published a list of ineligible candidates, with 30 students disqualified due to low percentiles or completing their MBBS from other states.

Candidates with concerns about the merit list can report their grievances by emailing knrpgadmissions@gmail.com by 4:00 PM on December 28, 2024. Supporting documents must also be submitted by this deadline. The final merit list will be announced after reviewing all grievances, the university stated.
