Entrance Test
- The admission in all courses is through SVU Common Entrance Test (SVUCET) and Merit cum Viva-Voce.
- For Some courses, admission is based on merit. For MBA, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) are also required, along with SVUCET. Other national-level entrance tests such as AIEEE, CAT, MAT, XAT, GATE, GPAT, etc. will also be considered for the purpose of admission.
- Master’s programs: Admission based on academic record.
- Ph.D. programs: Admission includes academic record, SVUCET, and Personal Interview. NET qualifiers or national scholarship holders are exempted from SVUCET.
Ph.D. Guidelines

- SVUCET for Ph.D.: The entrance test includes 50 MCQs (50 marks) and descriptive questions (50 marks), followed by a Personal Interview.
