Rajasthan NEET PG Round 2 Seat Allotment Results Declared; Reporting Starts January 18

Rajasthan NEET PG round 2 seat allotment results are out; candidates must report to allocated colleges between January 18-23 and pay tuition fees by January 22.

Jaipur, Rajasthan: SMS Medical College, Jaipur, has announced the Rajasthan NEET PG round 2 seat allotment results for MD, MS, post-MBBS DNB, and diploma courses. Candidates can check the allotment on the official website, rajpgneet2024.org, and download their allotment order from January 17 to 22.

  • Dates: January 18 to 23

  • Fee Payment: Tuition fees must be paid via NEFT or RTGS by January 22.

Court Intervention and Revised Merit List

The process resumed after a revised merit list was issued by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) following a court order. Earlier, 45 doctors approached the Jodhpur High Court citing errors in the provisional merit list. Bonus marks for in-service candidates will be awarded post-verification by the Directorate of Medical and Health Department, Rajasthan.

Counselling Process and Security Deposit

The counselling committee will conduct four rounds, including a stray vacancy round. Notably:

  • Security Deposit:
    • Rs 1 lakh for government colleges
    • Rs 2 lakh for management quota seats
    • Rs 5 lakh for private colleges

Security deposits will be forfeited if candidates fail to join the allocated college or provide false information.

The medical community has criticized the high security deposits and called for a revision in the fee structure.
