The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) has released the Odisha National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 mop-up round counselling schedule. Eligible candidates can register for the mop-up counselling until January 22, 2024, on the official website: dmetodisha.gov.in.

According to the notification, candidates who qualified NEET PG after the recent percentile reduction are eligible to participate. An application fee of ₹2,500 must be paid through SB-Collect. Candidates already included in the state merit list need not register again unless they wish to make changes.

  • Seat Allotment Process: Allocation will depend on the candidate’s rank, category, preferences during choice locking, and seat availability.
  • Required Documents: Applicants must prepare the following for submission:
    1. Photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving License/Voter ID)
    2. NEET PG scorecard
    3. HSC certificate
    4. Odisha residence certificate (if applicable)
    5. Reservation certificate (if applicable)
    6. Internship completion certificate
    7. Valid medical registration certificate
    8. MBBS pass certificate
    9. Service certificate (if applicable)
    10. SB-Collect payment slip
    11. Online application printout
    12. Other relevant documents
    13. Self-attested photocopies of all submitted documents.

Grievance Submission: Candidates can email grievances to opgmedical2024@gmail.com on January 25, using their registered email IDs and providing relevant evidence.

Next Steps: The submission of the verified state list to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for incentive addition and preparation of the state-specific merit list will also occur on January 25.
