NEET UG 2025 Registration Begins at neet.nta.nic.in; New Update by NTA

The NEET 2025 application form will be released soon, and interested candidates can apply on the official NTA website — neet.nta.nic.in.

NEW Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to commence the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 soon. Once the application form is released, eligible candidates can apply online at the official website — neet.nta.nic.in.

To complete the registration, candidates must first visit the NTA website and fill in the required personal and educational details. Next, they need to upload the necessary documents and scanned images, pay the application fee, and submit the form. It is recommended that applicants download and save a copy of the submitted form for future reference.

A key update for NEET UG 2025 is the removal of optional questions in Section B. Candidates appearing for the exam will no longer have access to optional questions or the additional time that was introduced during the COVID-19 period. The exam format will now return to its pre-COVID structure.

The optional section was initially introduced as a temporary measure to address challenges faced during the pandemic and remained in place until 2024. However, starting in 2025, NEET UG will feature a total of 180 compulsory questions—45 each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 in Biology. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam.
