NEET UG 2025 Latest Update: One Mistake in Registration Form Can Cost Your Medical Dream

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially commenced the registration process for the NEET UG 2025 examination. Candidates have been given one month to complete their registration. Aspirants who wish to appear for NEET UG 2025 can register until March 7, 2025. The official information bulletin is available on the NTA website (neet.nta.nic.in) for reference.

However, candidates must exercise extreme caution while filling out the application form, as even a minor mistake can lead to form rejection, potentially delaying their medical dreams by an entire year. From uploading documents in the correct format to ensuring accurate personal details, every step requires attention to detail to avoid costly errors.

To ensure a smooth registration process, NTA has released specific guidelines for NEET UG 2025 candidates.

Important Guidelines for NEET UG 2025 Registration

  • Candidates must carefully upload their photographs and signatures in the prescribed format. Failure to adhere to the specified format will result in form rejection, leading to a one-year delay in appearing for the medical entrance exam.
  • Scanned images must comply with the following size requirements:
    • Postcard-size photograph: 10 KB – 200 KB
    • Thumb impression (left and right hand): 10 KB – 200 KB
    • Signature: 10 KB – 50 KB
    • Category certificate: 50 KB – 300 KB
    • Class 10 certificate: 50 KB – 300 KB

Medical Certificate Requirements

  • A medical certificate must be issued by a panel of five doctors, and its scanned copy should be uploaded in the 50 KB – 300 KB range.
  • Additionally, a separate medical certificate must be signed by two doctors, and its scanned copy must also be uploaded within the 50 KB – 300 KB range.
  • The scanned copy of the ID proof should be 10 KB – 200 KB.

Candidates with any physical impairments must disclose the relevant details in their NEET UG application form.
