NEET UG 2025: Important Exam Details and Key Points to Know

The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted on 4 May 2025 by the NTA. Students need to keep in mind some important points for the exam.

NEW DELHI: The NTA will conduct the NEET UG 2025 exam on May 4th. Students must consider some important points before taking the exam. The NTA has already released the information bulletin explaining the details of exam patterns and methods.

Key points for the exam

  • The correct answer will get 4 Marks.
  • The incorrect option will cost -1 Marks.
  • The questions not attempted will not affect marks.
  • If more than one option is correct, 4 Marks will be awarded to those students who have marked any of the correct options.
  • If all the options are correct, 4 Marks will be given to candidates who have attempted it.
  • In case, none of the options is correct or the question is wrong, then all students who have appeared in the NEET UG 2025 exam will get marks.

The revised exam pattern for NEET UG for 2025 is as follows:

The Timing and mode of the exam

  • The NEET UG 2025 exam will be a single exam in pen and paper mode.
  • The Candidate will get 3 hours (02 PM to 05 PM) for the NEET UG 2025 exam.
  • Compensatory time of 1 hour will be given to PwBD Candidate (having a physical limitation to write), whether such candidate uses the facility of Scribe or not.
  • Candidates will get question papers in the language specified by students while filling out the application form.
