With the exam scheduled for May 4, 2025, it’s essential to follow these guidelines to avoid any last-minute hassles. NEET UG 2025 Exam Day Guidelines: Items to Carry

Make sure to carry the following essential items:

  • NEET 2025 Admit Card with a passport-size photo already pasted
  • One passport-size photograph to paste on the attendance sheet
  • One postcard-size photograph for the proforma attached to the admit card
  • Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, etc.)
  • Transparent water bottle (no labels or stickers)
  • Slippers or sandals (no shoes)
  • Small bottle of hand sanitizer (50 ml)

Ensure you carry these items to the exam hall for smooth entry.

NEET 2025 Exam Day Guidelines: Prohibited Items

To maintain a fair and smooth exam environment, the NTA has listed several prohibited items that candidates should avoid bringing to the exam hall. These include:

  • Textbooks, notes, printed/written papers, or any study material
  • Geometry box, calculator, scale, pen drive, writing pad, log table, etc.
  • Electronic devices: mobile phones, Bluetooth, smartwatches, cameras, scanners
  • Personal items: Wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, or any metal items like jewelry
  • Food items: Packed or open food and water bottles
  • Items that can conceal cheating devices: Cameras, microphones, etc.

Make sure to avoid bringing these items to the exam hall.

Important: No personal belongings can be kept at the exam center, so carry only the allowed items.

NEET UG 2025 Exam Dress Code

The NTA has set clear dress code guidelines for both male and female candidates to ensure a smooth examination process:

  • Clothing: Wear light-colored clothes with half sleeves (no full sleeves).
  • Footwear: Slippers or sandals are allowed. Shoes are not permitted as they may hide electronic devices.
  • No clothes with large pockets, badges, or buttons are allowed.
  • Special Considerations: Candidates wearing customary attire due to religious reasons must inform the NTA during the application process. Such candidates must report to the exam center one hour earlier than the regular reporting time.
