New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the NEET UG 2025 correction window, allowing candidates to rectify errors in their application forms. The correction window will remain open from March 9, 2025, to March 11, 2025.
This is a crucial opportunity for aspirants to ensure their application details are accurate, as incorrect information can lead to disqualification.
What Can Be Corrected?
Candidates can modify the following details through the NEET 2025 correction window:
- Father’s or Mother’s name
- Category and sub-category (OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD)
- NEET exam city and exam medium
- Domicile state
- Educational qualification details (Class 10 & 12)
- Number of attempts in NEET
- Uploaded signature
What Cannot Be Changed?
Certain details are locked and cannot be modified, including:
- Registered email ID and mobile number
- Aadhaar number or other identity proof
- Uploaded documents such as Class 10 mark sheets, photographs, and biometric data
How to Use the Correction Window?
- Visit the official NEET candidate login portal.
- Enter the application number and password to access the form.
- Click on the “Corrections in NEET UG 2025 Application” link.
- Make necessary modifications and cross-check all details.
- Enter the security PIN, click on preview and submit.
- Verify the changes highlighted in red and enter the OTP received on the registered mobile/email.
- Submit and take a printout of the correction slip.
Candidates modifying their category may need to pay an additional fee through net banking or debit card before the deadline.
With the deadline approaching soon, aspirants are advised to check their applications carefully and make corrections at the earliest to avoid last-minute issues.
