NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon officially release the notification for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of aspiring medical students across the country. How to Apply for NEET UG 2025?
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the NEET UG 2025 application process:
- Visit the Official Website – neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the registration link and enter basic details.
- Fill the Application Form with personal, academic, and communication details.
- Upload Documents scanned copies of photographs, signatures, and required certificates.
- Complete the process by paying the exam fee online.
- Save and print the application confirmation for future reference.
NEET UG 2025 Latest Updates by NTA
If we discuss the latest update regarding NEET UG 2025, NTA will conduct the exam in pen-and-paper mode. Candidates who wish to take admission in MBBS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, or B.Sc. Nursing courses must clear the NEET UG exam. The exam duration has now been reduced to 3 hours instead of the previous 3 hours and 20 minutes.
NTA will conduct the NEET UG 2025 exam on May 4, 2025. Candidates planning to appear for the exam must meet the eligibility criteria. They must pass their Class 12 board examination with Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
Candidates must secure the following minimum qualifying marks:
- General category candidates must obtain 50% marks.
- Reserved category candidates must secure 45% marks.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates must score at least 40% marks.
