NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release date for the NEET UG 2025 admit card. According to the official notice, the admit card will be available on 1 May 2025. The NEET UG exam is scheduled for 4 May 2025 in various cities across India. Candidates must download their admit card from the official website: neet.nta.nic.in. The exam city slip will be available for download by 26 April 2025.
How to Download the NEET UG 2025 Admit Card?
Follow these steps to download your admit card:
- Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, go to Public Notice and click on the NEET UG 2025 Admit Card link.
- A new page will appear. Enter your application number, password, and captcha code to log in.
- The admit card will be displayed on the screen. Check it carefully for any discrepancies.
- Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.
The admit card holds significant importance as it contains essential details such as the candidate’s name, exam venue, time, date, and exam guidelines. Candidates must follow the details mentioned in the hall ticket. If the admit card is misplaced, candidates can re-download it from the official website as many times as needed.
Retrieving Credentials
- Application Number: Use the “Forgot registration number” link on the official website and provide details like your name, your parent’s name, your date of birth, and your category. The application number will be sent to your registered email ID.
- Password: Reset it via the “Forgot Password” link using either an OTP or by answering your security question.
What to Do If You Can’t Download the Admit Card?
If candidates face issues downloading their admit cards, they are advised to send an email to neetug2025@nta.ac.in for assistance. The support service will be available from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Guidelines for Exam Day
- Mandatory Documents:
- NEET admit card (with a parent’s signature)
- Passport-size photograph (as per the application form)
- Valid ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.)
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
- Prohibited Items: Candidates must not carry electronic devices, calculators, written materials, food items, or metallic objects into the exam centre.
- Reporting Time: Arrive at the centre at least an hour before the reporting time to avoid last-minute issues. Gates will close at 1:30 PM.
- Verification: Biometric verification will be conducted to prohibit malpractice in the exam.
Important Notes for Candidates
- The admit card will not be sent by post, and no duplicate admit cards will be issued at the exam center. Make sure to download it from the official website.
- Candidates are urged to keep the printed admit card safe and carry it to the exam hall on the exam day.
- No entry will be granted without the admit card, and candidates must ensure they are following all instructions listed in the document.
- Incomplete applications will not receive the admit card, and eligibility criteria must be met to access the admit card.
- NTA has emphasized the importance of reading the guidelines carefully.
