New Delhi: MCC has announced 24,314 vacancies for NEET PG Round 3 counselling 2024. Candidates must register for NEET PG counselling today and fill choices by 8 am on January 16. MCC recently revised the NEET PG counselling schedule after reducing cut-offs, which let more aspirants participate in admissions. The cut-offs were reduced to stop PG seats in medical colleges from staying vacant.
MCC lowered NEET PG cut-off 2024 for general category candidates to 15 percentile and reduced it to 10 percentile for SC, ST, PwD categories. Eligible candidates must use the counselling facility before deadline.
NEET PG Round 3 Seat Matrix As schedule says, the NEET PG Round 3 registration window closes today at 12 noon. The choice filling facility remains available till 8 am tomorrow. Choice locking opens today at 8 pm and stays open till 8 am on January 16.
MCC announces 15,902 virtual vacancies for Round 3 counselling. Virtual vacancies mean seats temporarily vacant because candidates updated or vacated them after Round 2.
MCC added 99 new seats for Round 3 counselling in medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
Additionally, MCC announced 8,313 clear vacancies, which means seats not allotted in previous round.

MCC notified 25,661 seats for Round 2 and 24,314 seats for Round 3, only 1,347 less than the previous round. In Round 2, MCC newly allotted 12,621 seats and upgraded 3,561 choices.
