The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET PG 2024 special stray vacancy round counselling schedule on its official website. Eligible candidates who scored above the 5th percentile in the NEET PG exam can apply. MCC conducts the NEET PG counselling for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats in all states and 100% in central and deemed universities.
MCC is opening NEET PG 2024 counselling registration for the special stray vacancy round today, from March 6 to 8, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online at mcc.nic.in. Those who complete registration before the deadline can select and lock in their preferred colleges and courses during the choice-filling process from March 6 to 10, 2025.

NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round Admission Guidelines
MCC is overseeing the NEET PG counselling process to fill the remaining seats in PG medical courses across India. The authorities have released important guidelines for the special stray vacancy round, which are given below:
- MCC will start fresh registration for the NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round, under which students must complete a new choice-filling process to secure admission to PG medical courses.
- All AIQ-registered candidates will have to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000 for government quota seats.
- Candidates applying for the deemed university seats will have to deposit Rs 3,00,000.
- Candidates participating in the NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy counselling round will have to submit an undertaking regarding seat allotment during the choice-filling process.
