Dates for Round 3 Choice Filling:

  • Choice Filling Window: January 12 – January 16, 2025
  • Choice Locking: January 15 – January 16, 2025

NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule was revised after the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) lowered the NEET PG cut-off to minimize the number of vacant seats. Following this decision, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) updated the schedule, allowing eligible candidates to register until today.

Total Seats and Vacancies:

MCC has notified 24,314 seats for Round 3 counselling, categorized as follows:

  • 15,902 virtual vacancies: Allotted seats temporarily marked vacant due to upgrades.
  • 99 newly added seats: Introduced for this round.
  • 8,313 clear vacancies: Seats not allotted in previous rounds.

Guidelines for Choice Filling:

  • Candidates may submit as many choices as they prefer.
  • Choices should be filled in order of preference, as allotments are made based on the candidate’s preferences and seat availability.
  • MCC recommends filling 30-40 choices for a better chance of securing a preferred seat.

This is a critical step for candidates to secure their preferred medical colleges and courses. Ensure all selections are saved and finalized before the deadline.
