NEET UG Cut off 2024: On July 26, 2024, NTA released the revised cutoff for NEET 2024 along with the re-revised NEET UG 2024 scorecards. Compared to the cutoff scores released on June 4, 2024, with the original NEET UG 2024 results, the new cutoff scores have been reduced by two marks for each category.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) prescribed the minimum marks for the NEET UG cutoff in 2024 to select candidates in medical colleges in India according to the NEET scorecards. The National Eligibility Entrance Test NEET 2024 includes two types of cutoff. The first is the qualifying cutoff, meaning candidates must pass the entrance exam. The second is the admission cut-off, the last rank required for any college under NEET UG 2024. The cutoff score of NEET UG 2024 has been announced at neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates looking to apply for different medical courses need to qualify for the NEET UG cutoff to participate in the counselling process to get selected for their dream colleges.

What is the NEET Cutoff?
The NEET cut-off score is the minimum number of marks required to qualify for the NEET exam. The NEET cut-off is divided into two categories: admission cut-off and qualifying cut-off. NEET admission cut-off is the last rank at which a candidate will be admitted, whereas NEET qualifying is the minimum mark that a candidate must earn to pass the exam.
According to the previous year’s data, the passing marks in NEET UG cut-off were 720-138 for the general category and 137-108 for the SC/ST/OBC category. The general group had a percentile of 50, whereas the SC/ST/OBC category had a score of 40. Because NEET has superseded all medical entrance exams, medical institutes that accept NEET UG scores will start providing admission based on the results.
