The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) in Madhya Pradesh has released the revised merit list for the second round of MP NEET PG 2024 Counselling. Candidates applying for MD and MS courses can check the updated list on the official website dme.mponline.gov.in.

DME has also shared:

  • A list of eligible candidates
  • Details about candidates who have opted for upgradation
  • Information on vacant seats

Important Dates:

  • Candidates must fill new choices by January 6, 2025
  • DME will declare the seat allotment result on January 8, 2025

Guidelines for Candidates

  1. Eligibility and Choice-Filling:
Eligible candidates must complete the choice-filling and locking process by the given deadline on the portal. Candidates who received a seat or resigned from a seat in the first round will have a final chance to modify their registration.
  2. Advance Fee Payment:
Candidates need to pay an advance fee depending on the category:
    • ₹25,000 for the unreserved category.
    • ₹12,500 for the reserved category (for government colleges).
    • ₹2 lakh for private colleges.
    • ₹10 lakh for the NRI quota. Candidates who are already admitted to government or private colleges in the first phase will have their second-phase advance fee adjusted into the academic fee paid in the first phase.
  3. Document Verification and Admission:
After the seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted institute with original documents. They need to complete the online admission process once the documents are submitted.
  4. Penalty:
If a candidate does not accept the allotted seat, their advance deposit will be forfeited. Candidates who get upgraded seats in the second round must take admission within the given time frame.

Note: The MP High Court has stayed the counselling for private medical college seats due to violations in the NRI reservation quota. Therefore, the allotment for NRI candidates has been postponed.
