NEW DELHI: Amid demands to cancel the MCC NEET PG Round 3 allotment due to delays in state counselling, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Madhya Pradesh has released the schedule for the MP NEET PG 2024 mop-up round. The list of eligible candidates will be available on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in, on February 7. Over 75 aspirants recently petitioned the Supreme Court to cancel the NEET PG Round 3 allotments by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
They argued that the AIQ Round 3 started before the completion of Round 2 in some states, giving state quota candidates, who were ineligible for AIQ Round 3, a chance to block seats and later abandon them for better options in state counselling. The petitioners claimed this created an unfair advantage and prejudiced other candidates.
