The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has announced the MP NEET PG 2024 round 1 seat allotment result. Registered candidates can download the result by logging in with their registration number and date of birth on the official website – dme.mponline.gov.in.
The seat allotment result, which was previously postponed, has been declared on December 19, 2024. Shortlisted candidates must report to their allotted institute to confirm admission. The document verification and admission process for MP NEET PG round 1 will take place from December 21 to 31, 2024.
The seat allotment is based on the candidates’ choices, NEET PG rank, seat availability, and reservation criteria.
MP NEET PG 2024 Seat Allotment – Next Steps:
Candidates can choose from the following options based on their preferences for the next rounds of counselling:
1. Freeze:
- Description: The candidate accepts the allotted seat and confirms admission.
- Effect: The candidate will not be considered for further counselling rounds.
- When to Choose: Select this option if satisfied with both the college and the course.
2. Slide:
- Description: The candidate accepts the current seat but wants to upgrade within the same college.
- Effect: The candidate can move to a higher-ranking specialty or course in the same institution.
- When to Choose: Choose this if satisfied with the college but prefer a better specialty.
3. Float:
- Description: The candidate accepts the allotted seat but wishes to be considered for admission to a different college or course in future rounds.
- Effect: If a better option is available, the initial seat will be canceled, and the new seat will be allotted.
- When to Choose: Opt for this if you prefer to explore better options in upcoming rounds.
