NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a revised schedule for the NEET PG 2024 counselling stray vacancy round. According to the updated timeline, registration for the stray vacancy round will begin on February 12, 2024. Candidates can access the counselling form on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.
The choice-filling process will start on February 13, with the deadline set for 11:55 PM on February 16. The MCC declared the seat allotment result for Round 3 on January 25. Additionally, the National Medical Commission (NMC) updated the NEET PG seat matrix following the Supreme Court’s directive in response to petitions challenging the Round 3 counselling process.
NEET PG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Schedule
- Seat Allotment Process: Scheduled for February 17 and 18
- Seat Allotment Result Announcement: February 19
MCC will conduct seat allotment based on candidates’ merit ranks, submitted preferences during the choice-filling period, seat availability, and applicable reservation criteria.
Reporting Schedule for Shortlisted Candidates
Shortlisted candidates must report to their allotted colleges between February 20 and 28. MCC will collect data on joined candidates on March 1.

- NEET PG 2024 Admit Card
- NEET PG 2024 Result
- Class 10 Marksheet
- MBBS Mark Sheets
- MBBS Degree Certificate
- Internship Completion Certificate
- Permanent or Provisional Registration Certificate (issued by MCI)
- Valid Photo ID Proof (PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)
