MCC Resignation Guidelines for Round 1, 2 Seats NEET PG 2024 Counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released guidelines for candidates wishing to resign from their NEET PG 2024 counselling seats allotted in rounds 1 and 2. Aspirants can resign by December 26 via the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.

This decision follows numerous requests from candidates wanting to withdraw from their allocated seats. Those freshly allotted seats in round 2 can resign within the stipulated time by forfeiting their security deposit. Similarly, candidates who upgraded their seats and joined in round 2 can also resign under the same conditions.

To resign, candidates must physically report to the allotted college. The resignation process must be completed online through the MCC portal. MCC emphasized that if the resignation letter is not generated online by the college, it will be considered invalid.

NEET PG 2024: Round 3 Seat Contribution

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the intramcc portal is now open for PG medical colleges to contribute seats for round 3 of NEET PG counselling 2024. Colleges are instructed to add seats on intramcc.nic.in for those increased by the National Medical Council (NMC) after the completion of round 2 counselling.

NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Seat Contribution

The MCC stated that fresh Letters of Permission (LoPs) and newly approved seats due to appeals should be added to the portal. However, seats left vacant after round 2 due to non-reporting, cancellations, or resignations, as well as seats already contributed in earlier rounds, must not be included again to avoid duplication in the NEET PG seat matrix. Colleges must complete the updates by 5 PM on December 24.
