According to the notice, candidates who are not holding any seat in All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round conducted by MCC. However, candidates who failed to join their allotted seats through MCC in Round-3 are deemed ineligible for this round. An exception has been made for “Not Reported” candidates from Round-3 of MCC, allowing them to take part in state PG counselling.

Additionally, the notice highlights that candidates who have secured and joined state quota seats through earlier rounds will be allowed to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round conducted by MCC. However, candidates who do not join their allotted seat in this round will forfeit their security deposit and face a one-year ban from appearing in the NEET exam.

The MCC also stated that data on candidates who joined their allotted seats in Round-3 will be shared with state counselling authorities to prevent them from taking admission in state quota counselling. Candidates are advised to directly contact state counselling authorities for state quota-related queries.
