Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2024: Authorities Extend Round 2 Seat Resignation Deadline and Postpone CAP 3 Schedule

Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 counselling authorities extended the round 2 seat resignation deadline to January 8, 2025, and postponed the CAP 3 schedule until further notice.

The Maharashtra State Cell has extended the deadline for students to resign from their Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 round 2 counselling seats to January 8, 2025. This extension aligns with the MCC’s decision to extend the AIQ seat resignation deadline for round 2 MD/MS admissions.

Students allotted seats in the round 2 counselling process can now vacate their seats by January 8, 2025. The authorities issued a notification on the official website, confirming this change to accommodate the MCC’s updated schedule.

The official notification states: “In accordance with the MCC schedule, the last date to resign the Round 2 seat of state counselling is extended up to 08/01/2025.”

Maharashtra NEET PG CAP 3 Counselling Schedule Postponed
The Maharashtra State Cell has also postponed the Maharashtra NEET PG CAP 3 counselling schedule. As per the updated notification, the revised schedule for CAP 3 counselling will be announced later.

The notification reads: “The schedule for CAP – 3 declared vide notice no. 04 dated 14/11/2024 is postponed. The revised schedule will be published in due course. All concerned candidates and institutes should take note of the same.”

Note: Recently, MCC further extended the NEET PG 2024 seat resignation deadline to January 8, 2025, for students wishing to vacate their allotted round 1 or round 2 seats for MD/MS admissions. Students must use their login credentials to access the resignation portal.
