Lakshadweep NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Department of Education organizes the Lakshadweep NEET state counselling, Kavaratti Lakshadweep. The Admission to MBBS/BDS courses is based on the NEET Scorecard, and only NEET-qualified candidates can apply and participate in NEET Counselling. The various government and private medical and dental institutions of Lakshadweep will accept the NEET-UG scorecard. Every year the Department of Education U.T of Lakshadweep has been sponsoring candidates from Lakshadweep to the MBBS/BDS seats reserved by the Government of India Lakshadweep.
The candidate for the above seats has been selected per the Lakshadweep seat allotment rule and the admission criteria prescribed by the Government of India or the apex body in the field.

Lakshadweep NEET UG Counselling Eligibility
- The applying seekers should have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination.
- Aspirants must have a domicile in Lakshadweep.
- The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English are the compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks; 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% marks are for Physically Handicap candidates.
- Age Criteria: The candidate should have completed 17 years as of 31-12-2024.
The candidates born on or after 02-01-2005 are not eligible for admission into MBBS or BDS Courses.
Lakshadweep NEET UG Counselling 2024
Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)
Counselling of NEET 2024 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.
1. Candidate Registration: Register on the official website.
2. Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and lock in the preferences in the online portal.
3. Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidate’s choices.
4. Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round must either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
5. New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
6. Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to Round 1.
7. Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to Round 1.
8. Reporting to college (Round 2): Here, it is to be noted that those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.

How to Apply
- Step I: The candidate must visit the official website.
- Step 2: After opening the official website of MCC and clicking on ‘New Registration.’
- Step 3: The dashboard page of MBBS admissions will open in a new tab, and the candidates must click ‘Sign Up. Enter the ‘Registered Mobile Number, E-Mail and other details to create a login account on the official website. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to complete pre-registration and a login account will be created.
- Step 4: Log on to the MCC website and click ‘Candidate login.’
- Step 5: Enter your Roll Number and Password.
- Step 6: You will be redirected to a new page where you must enter details like Name, Roll No., Registration No., Mother’s Name, Contact No., etc. When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
- Step 7: You will be redirected to a new page where you have to enter details like Name and Roll No; when you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
- Step 8: After this, you will be shown all your details per the NTA database. Verify the information and click on ‘Confirm Registration. A Registration Slip will be generated. Candidates are advised to save this page.
- Step 9: After successful registration, candidates are asked to submit a refundable and non-refundable NEET 2024 counselling fee. The UR Category fee is Rs. 1000, and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD fee is Rs. 500.
- Step 10: Choice Locking facility is available for a specific time
- Step 11: Release of Seat Allotment Result It is released in the form of a list followed by a seat allotment letter to the selected candidates. Candidates must report to the allotted colleges with the allotment letter and other documents to finish the admission process.
