Admission Processing Fee
The cost of the online application form for NEET-UG is Rs. 1000/- for the State quota for all courses and the Institutional quota of Rs. 5000, and both quotas Rs. 6000/- for MBBS and BDS courses only. This application fee is not refundable. Hence candidates are advised to go through the Information Brochure and ascertain their eligibility. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ascertain eligibility and online payment of fees within the prescribed period, failing which the online application will be rejected.
History
The government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, (From now on called the Act).

Online Application Form Filling Process:
The online form submission process details are on www.mahacet.org, as mentioned below. The ‘Apply Online for NEET-UG’ Link will be available on www.mahacet.org.
(a) Application form link will be displayed. Click on the Application form link.
(b) Instruction page will be displayed. Carefully read the Instructions for filling out an online form (Annexure “A”). After reading the Instructions, the applicant has to click the NEXT button to go to the actual Online Application form (Annexure “A” a specimen copy of the online application form).
(c) Candidate should fill in all the entries in the application form.
(d) System will validate the required fields before allowing them to submit.
(e) Before submitting of Application Form, the candidate should read carefully the conditions given under “Declaration by the Candidate” Candidate should agree to the below-given conditions before submitting the application form.

(i) I, at this moment, solemnly and sincerely affirm that every statement made and the complete information I provided in the application form is true and correct.
I understand that I am liable for a criminal prosecution, and I agree to forgo my seat in the Medical course. I also understand that my selection and admission to the system are liable to be cancelled.

ii) I have not concealed any material information; however, if any information submitted herein is found fraudulent, incorrect or untrue.
(iii) I have carefully read the rules & regulations of the NEET-UG brochure, and I agree to abide by them. Now, accept these rules’ legality, validity and correctness. I understand by submitting this application, I have received the correctness, validity and justifiability of all these and that had I not accepted the correctness and validity of these rules, I would not have submitted this application and further that it will not be open from now on to challenge and question validity and correctness of any government or part thereof.
(iv) I undertake to submit all the required original certificates at the time of the physical Document verification process and at the time of admission to a course/college as per the rules, failing which I understand that my claim for selection shall not be granted. If candidates agree to the conditions above, they should know they should be on Lytton so that their application form will be accepted.
(f) During submission, the system will ask for the “Password” of the candidate.
(g) Eligible Candidates will be able to submit the form. The candidate should verify the correctness of entries made in the application form. There is a provision to make changes in the Application Form before Clicking on Submit Button. There is no provision to make changes in the application form once Submit Button is clicked.
(h) After submitting the form, the candidate must pay a Non-Refundable online

(i) The candidate should take a printout of the Receipt of the online fee payment.
(j) ‘Log In’ Link will be available on www.mahacet.org to verify the application Form.
(k) Candidate should log in with Application No. (User Name) and their unique Password to download the printout of the Application Form. The candidate must preserve the downloaded application form downloaded to print out the form for subsequent use.
(l) Applicants need not send a copy of the Application Form or any Document to this office.
(m) Please note that if you make a mistake filling out the online Application Form, this office cannot correct it. The office will take no responsibility of any kind for such applications.
Candidate should preserve the:-
(i) Receipt of online fee payment.
(ii) Copy of the online application form
(iii) download a copy of the Information Brochure for subsequent use.
(n) Uploading of Documents: After successful online payment, the Candidate has to upload the required documents online.

Cutoff
- Aspirants must obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in the NEET entrance examination to qualify for further admissions.
