HP NEET UG Merit List 2022
AMRU will draw and notify a combined as well as category–wise merit list based on the All India merit ranking of NEET-UG-2022 of the qualified candidates who have submitted their application form online only, complete in all respects and have obtained the printout of confirmation copy of the said online form within the stipulated period as mentioned in the prospectus.
Join NEET 2024 Group 1) The new rank in order of merit will be assigned to the candidates in the merit list to be notified by the University for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Government Medical/Dental Colleges, including private un-aided Medical/Dental Colleges for filling up under State/Management Quota AND NRI seats, as the case, maybe. The merit list will be available on the University Website www.amruhp.ac.The candidates are advised to check their new merit rank and attend the counselling as scheduled to be notified of the merit list separately.
As the case, Medical/Dental Colleges, including Private Medical/Dental Colleges, may be subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the prospectus.
2) Candidates will be considered in order of merit drawn by the AMRU for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under State/Management Quota in Govt. Provided further, the candidates who do not fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria for State Quota seats will be considered in merit under management quota seats only in private medical/dental colleges if otherwise, they are interested.
3) In case the seats in the State Quota remain vacant even after exhausting the merit list. The Himachali Bonafide candidates only, if admitted under Management Quota, will be converted into State Quota to fill up the vacant seats under State Quota in order of merit, category-wise. The candidates so admitted/altered against such seats shall be charged the fee payable by the State Quota candidates.
HP Seat Allotment
The Himachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The seat allotment and mop-up round process will be done separately for each Seat. The seat allotment will be based entirely on the merit rank and choices made by candidates.
The Himachal Pradesh MBBS and BDS seat allotment result for Round I Counselling will be announced tentatively in the first week of December. The seat allotment result will be published online at Atal Medical & Research University, HP.
Document Verification
After releasing the provisional Himachal Pradesh NEET UG merit list, the responsible authority will release a schedule for document verification for all applicants whose names appear on the merit list. Applicants must report in person at the assigned venue to verify their original documents for Himachal Pradesh Medical College admission.

Tie-Breaking Process For HP MBBS Rank List
If the ranks of two or more aspirants are the same, then the authority will follow the HP NEET merit list tie-breaking method as discussed below.
- Aspirants with higher marks in Physics will be given a higher rank in the merit list of HP MBBS.
- If the tie still exists, the higher marks of a candidate in Chemistry will be considered for a higher place in the MBBS rank list for HP.
- In case of a tie, students who attempted less number of incorrect responses in the NEET UG exam will be given a better rank.
- If the tie insists, the aspirant older will be considered first on the merit list.
