In 2005, the College was relocated to the Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in Ludhiana. The College is a regional, national, and international centre of excellence in animal health and production research and education. GADVASU Ludhiana has been accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and is recognised by the Veterinary Council of India.
