Assam Counselling Process 2024
- Assam NEET (MBBS & BDS) counselling will be conducted online in two rounds, and to be a part of the DME Assam counselling, candidates must qualify for the NEET exam.
- The DME Assam NEET merit list will be published by the DME, Assam, with the selected applicants’ names based on their NEET scores.
- It would be best to remember that only applicants with their names on the list will be eligible for the Assam NEET Counselling process.
- Eligible applicants must complete the Assam NEET application form before the late date.
- To attend the Assam NEET counselling, the candidate must report to the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Six Miles, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. Candidates must bring the documents listed below, original and a self-attested copy, to the counselling venue.
Compulsory Rural Posting
| 1. | Compulsory Rural Posting after completion of MBBS course. | After completing the MBBS course, all the candidates must do one year of compulsory rural service or 5(five) years of state health service. |
| 2. | Resident Specialist Services by the Post PG Diploma/Degree candidates. | After completing their course, all the PG degree/diploma candidates in Assam medical colleges shall work in Secondary and Tertiary care government hospitals of Assam for one year. |
