New Delhi: The final decision regarding the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) will be announced next week, as confirmed by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan during the launch of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam 3.0 portal. The NEET UG 2025 exam notification is expected to be published on the new official website.
Key Points on NEET UG 2025 Updates
- Decision on Exam Mode:
- The final decision on whether the NEET UG 2025 medical entrance exam will be conducted in online or pen-and-paper mode will be announced next week.

Changes in NEET UG 2025
Following the NEET UG paper leaks, the Ministry of Education, under the Supreme Court’s direction, established a high-level committee to evaluate the functioning of the NTA and propose reforms for the entrance exam.
The seven-member panel, led by former ISRO chairperson K Radhakrishnan, made the following key recommendations:
- Multiple Sessions: Conduct the NEET UG 2025 exam in multiple sessions to manage the large number of students appearing for the exam.
- Computer-Assisted Pen-and-Paper Test: Implement a hybrid system to prevent paper leaks and improve exam management.
- Digital Question Paper Distribution: Share NEET UG 2025 question papers digitally with exam centers, where they will be printed and distributed to students on-site.
