Chhattisgarh NEET PG Counselling 2024 Announces Revised Mop-Up Round Schedule with 212 Vacant Seats

DME Chhattisgarh has released the revised NEET PG 2024-25 counselling schedule for Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy Rounds, with 212 vacant seats across nine medical colleges.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh has officially announced the revised tentative schedule for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) MD and MS Counselling Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy Round under the Chhattisgarh State Quota for the academic year 2024-25. The updated schedule aligns with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) timeline.

NEET PG Mop-Up Round 2024

The Mop-Up Counselling Round began on January 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM and will conclude on February 3, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Candidates must complete the choice filling and locking process by February 3, 2025.

  • The seat allotment process will commence on February 5, 2025, and results will be published on February 6, 2025.
  • The scrutiny and admission process at the respective institutes will take place from February 7 to February 13, 2025.

NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round 2024

The Stray Vacancy Round will run from February 15 to February 23, 2025. The choice filling and locking process will begin on February 15, 2025, and conclude on February 17, 2025.

  • The seat allotment process will begin on February 18, 2025, followed by the publication of results on February 19, 2025.
  • The scrutiny and admission process at the respective institutes will occur from February 20 to February 23, 2025.

Eligibility for Stray Vacancy Round

Candidates meeting any of the following criteria qualify for the Stray Vacancy Round:

  1. Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 but did not take admission or opted for “Reject”.
  2. Candidates who registered for counselling but did not receive any seat in previous rounds.

Ineligibility for Stray Vacancy Round

Candidates cannot participate in the Stray Vacancy Round under the following conditions:

  1. If they have already been allotted a seat in the Mop-Up Round.
  2. If they accepted an allotted seat in any previous round but failed to complete the admission process.
  3. If they accepted a seat, underwent scrutiny, but were declared ineligible.

NEET PG Mop-Up Round Seat Matrix 2024-25

DME Chhattisgarh has also published the CG NEET PG Mop-Up Round Seat Matrix for the 2024-25 session. A total of 212 seats remain vacant across nine medical colleges in the state.
