CBSE 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin the Class 10 and 12 board examinations tomorrow, February 15, 2025. The examinations will be conducted by CBSE in one shift, i.e., from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM for three hours. An extra 15 minutes will be provided to the students to read the question paper.

1. Make wise use of the extra 15 minutes provided
   • CBSE gives students an extra 15 minutes so they may carefully read the questions before beginning to write their answers. Students can create a strategy for how they will correctly complete the work.
   • Students must therefore carefully consider how to use these fifteen minutes to develop a plan efficiently and accurately for writing their exams.
   • Divide all the questions into 3 categories based on difficulty level and attempt the easy one first
2. Order of writing answers
   • You do not have to attempt questions in any particular sequence.
   • Make a list of the questions you feel most comfortable answering.
   • It is not necessary to write the answers in the same order as it is on the question paper.
   • First, write down the answers you know are accurate.
   • This will give you more self-assurance and allow you to free up enough time to consider the solutions to tougher questions.
   • Just ensure that you write the section and question number clearly before writing the answer.
3. Write precise and concise answers to the questions
   • Examine a question carefully and make sure you understand its meaning.
   • Try to keep your response to the question’s requirements as brief as possible, and avoid writing lengthy paragraphs that provide pointless details.
   • Always highlight and underline the keywords and phrases.
   • Make sure your responses are well-founded.
   • The majority of students wrongly believe that their score increases with the length of their answer.
   • Writing irrelevant answers will not help you gain scores.
4. Make question selections that you are comfortable with
   • Typically, The question paper has a few questions with internal choices.
   • It is up to you to decide which questions you want to answer.
   • Read each one carefully at least twice, and then visualize what you need to write in each situation.
   • In this manner, you will be able to assess your level of understanding of the specific issue and get any uncertainties cleared up.
   • If a student has attempted both choices in an ‘OR’ question, then the examiner will not consider the first question. They will grade only the second question.
   • Hence, attempt only one question in this type of question set.
5. Try to attempt all the questions
   • Since there is no negative marking, try attempting all the questions.
   • Always mention the formula and all relevant steps while answering any numerical-based question.
   • Even if the answer value is incorrect but other calculations and formulas are correct, you will score some marks for writing these.
   • Examiners are always searching for technical jargon or relevant keywords that could be used to award you points.
