The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has started the Special Stray Vacancy Round-III Online Counselling for UGMAC-2024, focusing on MBBS admissions in both Government and Private Medical Colleges in Bihar. Only candidates who previously expressed their willingness but did not receive a seat are eligible, while those already allotted seats in AIQ Special Stray Vacancy Round-II are not allowed to participate.
The updated seat matrix for this round is now available on the BCECE Board’s website, and candidates are advised to review it before proceeding with fresh choice filling, as all previous choices are now nullified. The online counselling process requires candidates to log in to the portal, create a password, authenticate via OTP and carefully fill and lock their choices.
The key dates include the availability of the updated seat matrix on December 22, 2024, the opening of choice filling on December 23, 2024, and the closure on December 25, 2024. The provisional seat allotment results will be published on December 27, 2024, with allotment order downloads available until December 29, 2024. Document verification and admissions for successful candidates will take place from December 28 to 29, 2024.
Admission confirmation will require physical reporting at designated centers for document verification. Candidates failing to comply will forfeit their security deposit and tuition fees, and will be barred from participating in UGMAC-2025. The mandatory documents for verification include NEET UG admit card and scorecard, matriculation and 10+2 certificates, residential and caste certificates, UGMAC-2024 rank card, Aadhaar card, and six recent passport-sized photographs.
The fee structure for private medical colleges is available on the BCECE Board’s website, and candidates are strongly encouraged to verify it before completing the application. Admissions will be based on a merit-cum-choice basis, and any discrepancies will be resolved in accordance with the rules of MCC and UGMAC-2024.
