The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has once again updated the schedule for the NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling. Registered candidates can view the revised schedule on the official website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
According to the official notification, candidates allotted seats in rounds 1 and 2 can resign from their seats with the forfeiture of their security deposit between January 27 and January 28, 2025, until 2 PM. It is mandatory for candidates to obtain the “Resignation Slip” generated through the online counselling portal.
Join NEET PG News 2025 The notice specifies that candidates who were allotted retained, upgraded, or fresh seats in rounds 1 or 2, and have opted for “No” to upgradation in round 3 after completing document verification and enrolling at their allotted institute, or those who opted for “Yes” to upgradation in round 3 and completed document verification, are eligible to forfeit their seats from the earlier rounds.
However, candidates who resign and forfeit their security deposit will be ineligible for round 3 or subsequent rounds of Bihar NEET PG counselling. Additionally, candidates who fail to complete document verification for seats allotted in previous rounds will also lose their eligibility for further counselling. On the other hand, those who reapply by submitting a fresh application along with a security deposit will remain eligible to participate in round 3 counselling.
