About Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot

All government actions aim to promote human growth and improve people’s quality of life. The state needs highly qualified people to deal with health-related issues and promote good health. The medical education department trains medical and paramedical personnel to meet the state’s health needs.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of Punjab in July 1998. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad, thereby opening a window to the world for the health professionals, health planners, health managers, biomedical and social scientists and educators in health sciences of the country. Eligibility Criteria:-

The following shows the conditions required for the candidates to be eligible for the Counselling Process for the state of Punjab:-

1. The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/corrigendum(s) and as well as Punjab Govt. Personnel Department letter dated 06.06.1996.
2. Merely applying for admission to  MBBS/BDS  court based on NEET-UG will qualify the candidates. The Admission Committee will determine the Merit of a candidate for entry strictly per the rules and regulations laid down by the Punjab Govt. Notification(s) as published in this prospectus and other documents as are required with the ADMISSION APPLICATION The Admission Committee shall conduct counselling/Admissionsittee constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.
3. Age: As specified in NEET-UG.

Application Fee

• The admission Application Fee of Rs. 5900 (Rs.2950 for SC candidates), including GST @18%, will be deposited only through the online payment gateway.
• The admission Application Fee will not be accepted in any form after the due date/time.
• Only those Admission Application Forms will be considered for counselling, the fee for which has been deposited by the due date/time.
• No request for accepting the Admission Application Forms after the due date/time will be entertained.
• Mere deposition of the fee will not entitle the candidate to claim admission.

Once deposited in the University Account, the fee will not be refunded/adjusted in any case.
