The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam has announced the Assam NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round schedule. This round will fill 50% of the vacant PG seats in government medical colleges in Assam and BBCI, Guwahati, under the state quota for the 2024 session. The counselling is being conducted after the NEET 2024 cutoff was reduced to five percentiles.
Candidates who have already taken admission in the AIQ or State Quota stray round cannot join the Special Stray Vacancy Round for State Quota seats. The Assam NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round will start on March 13, 2025, and end on March 20, 2025.

Candidates who got seats in the previous round can surrender their seats today. March 11, 2025, without losing their fees or security deposit. After this date, a penalty will be charged.
