Rajkiya Engineering College Banda (REC Banda), formerly known as Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Engineering College of Information Technology (BREXIT), is one of the newly built government engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The college was established by the government of Uttar Pradesh in 2010 and has three branches: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and information technology.

The REC Banda moved to its own fully residential campus located at Atarra, Banda, in July 2015, and all academic activities from the 2015-16 session are being carried out on its campus. A fully residential campus of the REC Banda consists of an Academic Building, a Workshop, Five Hostels (Boys and Girls), Residential Apartments, a Student Activity Centre, a College Canteen, a Grocery Store and other recreation facilities.

Cut Off

The REC Banda Cut-Off is the minimum mark prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. Aspirants who apply for the Institute need to clear the Cutoff for various courses. The Cutoff will be based on multiple parameters like the number of applying candidates, total seats, and last year’s admission record. A merit list will be designed on these Cutoff scores.

UPCET Counselling Procedure 2024

Candidates who qualify for the UPCET 2024 exam can register for the counselling process from the official website. Applicants can check the steps for the UPCET 2024 counselling process given below.

Step 1: Registration, Uploading of Documents and Fee Payment

The first step in UPCET counselling is to complete the registration process from the official website. After filling in all the registration form details, candidates must pay the UPCET 2024 counselling fee online. Applicants also need to upload relevant documents as mentioned in the notification on the counselling portal.

Step 2 – Verification of Documents

After registration, the exam conducting authority will verify all the documents uploaded in the UPCET counselling form. After successfully completing document verification, applicants will receive a message at their registered mobile number. If there is any discrepancy in documents uploaded in the counselling form, UPCET will contact the candidates through a registered email ID/ phone number.

Step 3 – Choice Filling and Locking

After completing document verification, candidates must fill their college and course choices from the UPCET Counselling portal. Applicants are advised to fill in as many choices as possible in the UPCET choice filling form.

Step 4 – Seat Allotment

The seat allotment will be done based on JEE Main score and all-India rank. Candidates can check their seat allotment status for 2024 from the login window.

Step 5 – Confirmation of Seat and Online Willingness

Candidates allotted seats in the respective counselling round have to confirm their seats. Applicants can select any one of the three options mentioned below.

• Freeze: If a candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted, they may freeze it.
• Float: If a candidate is unsatisfied with the seat allotted to him and wants to upgrade it in the next round.
• Withdrawal: If the applicant is not satisfied with the seat allotted to theme and does not want to participate in further rounds of counselling.

Step 6 – Reporting to Allotted College
