Malviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur also known as MNIT Jaipur is one of the apex institutions of engineering and higher studies in the state of Rajasthan. Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur was ranked 52 among engineering colleges by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2019.

The institute was established in the year 1963 Malviya Regional Engineering College (MREC), as a joint venture of the government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. Later in 2002, the college was upgraded to Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. In the same year, the college was granted Deemed University Status with the approval of the University Grants Commission.

B.Tech/ B.Arch	Admission to Undergraduate Engineering Program for the candidates from India at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI) shall include the performance in the class 12/other Qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).
M.Tech	All regular category candidates must possess a score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
MBA (Master of Business Administration)	Admission to the MBA program is done on the basis of CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MAT followed by GD/PI.
M.Sc	Admission to M.Sc program is through IIT JAM 2019 followed by CCMN counselling.
