B.Tech (Lateral)	The admissions to B.Tech. M.Sc. The UPCET Counselling 2024 is divided into a total of 5 Rounds. Right from registering for counselling to choice filling, everything will be online. So, having a grip on the counselling process is a prime concern. Let us discuss the schedule, eligibility and activities associated with UPTU Counselling 2024.

Below is the given procedure for how to fill out the counselling form:-

Step-1 – Registration, Document uploading & Payment of counselling fee:
(a) First, the Candidates must register to participate in UPCET counselling.
(b). During registration, aspirants must provide their credential information.
(c). After the successful registration, candidates will be required to fill in the required details and pay the admission fees through online mode (credit/debit card or net banking).
(d). After that, your candidates must upload the required documents.

Step 2 – Document verification: Aspirants must upload scanned images of the required documents.

Step 3 – Filling out choices: Aspirants must provide their preferred college and courses in order of preference. Candidates can select the college according to their choice and preference.

Step-4 – Seat allotment result: Based on the merit list, choices filled, and availability of seats, candidates will be allotted seats in B.Tech programmes.

Step-5 – Seat Confirmation or Online Willingness by the Candidates: Aspirants can select either of three options to confirm seat allotment – freeze, float, or withdraw.

• Freeze: If a student is satisfied with the allotted seat, they can choose the option of Freeze
• Float: If candidates have doubts and also want to get their seat upgraded in the next round, they can select the option Float
• Withdrawal: Candidates, if not satisfied with the allotted seat and wish not to participate in the further admission process, can select Withdrawal

Step 6 – Physical Reporting at the College: After the counselling process, the candidates’ allotted seats will have to report to the allotted college, along with all required documents to confirm their assigned seats.
