Galgotias University, located in Uttar Pradesh, was established in the year 2011 and sponsored by Smt. Shakuntala Educational and Welfare Society. It has been recognized as a leading academic institution by achieving the highest benchmark in academic excellence with NAAC A+ accreditation in the first cycle. This remarkable achievement places Galgotias as the only private university in Uttar Pradesh with a NAAC score of 3.37 out of 4, awarded by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university began operations in the 2011-2012 academic session and welcomed its first batch of students in July 2011. Since then, it has grown to have more than 15,000 students.
